Spring 2025
Dear RodBuster,
In our last letter, we discussed the investments we were making in facilities and machinery to ensure that MAR-MAC would be able to supply high quality, U.S. manufactured building products far into the future. And we made those investments in the face of economic uncertainty.
Since that letter, uncertainty remains but we feel a new excitement around U.S. manufacturing and the U.S. economy in general. Regardless of your personal politics, it’s exciting to be a witness to policy discussions that prioritize American business and the American worker.
We believe strongly that a strong nation and a strong economy are built on the ability to add value – whether that is to physical items like the steel products we make or in the form of software applications that make life easier. For too long, the U.S. has depended on other people to make too much of our stuff. This might be the most exciting time in our 73-year history to be a manufacturer in America.
With a strong focus on American-made products, we’re hopeful that this will not only be a successful time for us but also create more job opportunities for you and others in the industry—especially as recruiting continues to be a challenge.
After seeing some of the products being developed at World of Concrete 2025, I’m interested in seeing how the future of rodbusting is going to change. If you attended the convention in January or have heard about some of those products, we’d love to hear your thoughts—feel free to write or call us.
In our last letter we reintroduced honorary rodbuster degrees from MAR-MAC, which were a hit! We are offering those again for this rodbuster mailer, so for any requests please call Lauren at 843-407-3934 so she can take your name, years of service, and local.
This spring’s shirt design is a return to form. We’ve been experimenting with designs for the past couple of years and wanted to try something that looks “classic” this time around. Let us know what you think. We have also brought back the design Under the Influence which you can specially request.
